THE OPPORTUNITY

As part of the Security Operations team, you will contribute to initiatives spanning security monitoring, detection engineering, incident response, and proactive threat hunting. Responsibilities include developing and tuning detection rules, analyzing security events, automating operational processes, and responding to security incidents promptly and effectively.

You will collaborate closely with specialists in application security, cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, and threat intelligence, while also supporting broader efforts in network security, cloud security, and vulnerability management.

You will join a global team and participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation, ensuring continuous operational support and upholding the organization’s security standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

We are seeking candidates with:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in information security
  • An industry-recognized security certification (ISACA, ISC2, GIAC, or equivalent)
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong background in detection engineering and incident response
  • Strong interest in security automation and orchestration, with a commitment to continuous learning
  • Experience creating detections using KQL, Sigma, or similar query languages
  • Experience automating tasks using low-code platforms and scripting tools such as PowerShell or Microsoft Logic Apps
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure and Windows security, including TTPs, evidence, and effective detection and mitigation strategies


Additional experience in the following areas would be considered an asset:

  • Network security and firewall administration experience
  • Application security background
  • Reverse engineering skills
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence and emerging threats
  • Fundamental knowledge of digital forensics and incident response (DFIR)
  • Understanding of AI security and associated risks


RELOCATION AND COMPENSATION

This is a full-time position based on-site in George Town, Grand Cayman. As the role involves international relocation, preference will be given to candidates who can transition smoothly and are enthusiastic about the opportunity to live and work in the Cayman Islands.
