Our client is an international composite Insurer, with thriving operations in Bermuda, Caribbean, Europe and Canada. They are seeking a driven, and analytically minded individual ready to make a significant impact in the world of Insurance as a Corporate Actuary. In this pivotal role, you’ll be immersed in a challenging and rewarding environment, working alongside experienced actuaries and contributing to a wide range of essential functions. You’ll gain invaluable experience across various lines of business, fostering a deep understanding of the composite insurance landscape.

Your Core Responsibilities will include:

The background our client seeks is as follows:

  • 7-10 years industry experience
  • FSA / FCIA equivalence
  • Experience in IFRS 17 Valuation Life, Health, Annuity – (any P&C is a great add on!)
  • Experience with regulatory capital regimes: BMA, SII
  • Background in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, finance, or related fields.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
  • Advanced Experience with Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience with GGY AXIS considered a bonus (or other actuarial valuation software)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • An interest in working in a highly dynamic environment
