We are seeking a motivated IT Professional to take on an IT Management role with our engineering and manufacturing client in Vaughan. This is a full-time, on-site role with responsibility for the overall integrity, security, and support of the company’s infrastructure, hardware, software and data systems supporting a busy complement of staff across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of systems
• Manage and maintain all hardware, software and ERP systems, including troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address technology needs and requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers
• Monitor and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades
• Train and support staff on the use of technology systems and tools
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Manage and lead a small team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support as needed

We are looking for the following qualifications and experience in an ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant, senior-level IT experience, preferably with a mid-sized, private organization
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or similar preferred. Relevant industry certifications would be an asset
• Demonstrated technical leadership, project management and problem-solving skills
• Well-rounded technical skillset with experience that covers as many as possible of the following: Windows Server (on-prem and cloud), Office 365, Virtualization, Networking, Storage, Backup, VOIP system experience
• Working ERP knowledge
• Ability to provide support across multiple branches
