We are seeking an experienced, industry certified and highly mobile Network Engineer who would be interested in relocating to join our client, a premier provider of IT Solutions and Managed IT Services in the Cayman Islands.

The successful applicant will be a part of a team of Engineers/IT Consultants that validate customer requirements, manage projects (including design, implementation and documentation) and proactively manage and support customer networks to ensure operational availability and security.

The Engineer will be primarily responsible for designing, implementing and supporting Cisco/HPE networking infrastructure including Cisco, Fortinet, and Aruba HPE LAN switches (core, distribution and access), Cisco/Fortinet/Check Point/Palo Alto Firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, routers and voice gateways.

Relevant background includes:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience that includes direct experience with a Managed Services Provider (MSP), IT Consulting Firm or similar
  • Proven history of providing presales consultation to customers and sales representatives
  • Project management, design and Tier/L3 support experience relating to networking engagements
  • Understanding of Security and Compliance best practices would be beneficial (eg. NIST guidelines and publications such as Cyber Security Framework, 800-53, 800-30, ISO27001, SOC2 and PCI)

Industry certification(s) required. Any of the following would be highly valued:

  • Cisco CCNP
  • Aruba ACSA, ACMA, ACSP
  • Fortinet NS4, NS5, NS7 or equivalent
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH or GIAC would be an added advantage

This is a full-time, employee based position in the Cayman Islands. Due to the relocation involved, candidates should be highly mobile, adaptable and able to make a long-term move to Grand Cayman.
