Part-Time Senior Project Manager

Remote - Contract

Our Bermuda‑based IT consulting client specializes in ERP and financial systems implementations, migrations, and integrations for international financial services organizations. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager for a long‑term, part‑time, remote contract engagement. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Project Manager who is comfortable working 40–60% of a regular work week. The mandate involves working on multiple projects with various clients! Candidates should be based in Canada’s Eastern or Atlantic time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project assignments, detailed project plans, and timelines aligned to approved Statements of Work
  • Coordinate internal teams and third‑party vendors to ensure successful ERP/financial system implementations, migrations, and integrations
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, including proactive risk identification and mitigation
  • Control scope and ensure formal change‑management processes are followed
  • Maintain complete and accurate project documentation
  • Review and approve weekly time entries; validate budget versus actuals
  • Update internal project tracking systems to support real‑time reporting
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions that meet client requirements


Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of hands‑on project management experience, preferably within a software consulting or technology services environment
  • Proven ability to build and manage detailed project plans, control scope, and mitigate risk
  • Experience leading status meetings and managing internal and client calls
  • Strong process discipline with the ability to follow and continuously improve operational practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including formal project documentation and reporting
  • Highly responsive and professional in all internal and external communications
  • Demonstrated success in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment with shifting priorities
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders, finance teams, IT teams, and third‑party vendors
  • Comfortable in diplomatically challenging clients to protect scope, timelines, and outcomes
  • Strong collaborator who proactively engages cross‑functional teams
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
