Sales Manager - IT Services & Solutions

We are seeking a Senior IT business development professional to take on a sales leadership opportunity with our client, an award-winning MSP and IT Solution Provider based in the Cayman Islands. Reporting to the company’s Directors, this individual will be responsible for leading a small team of Account Executives and expanding business in both Cayman and the wider Caribbean region. It is anticipated that the ideal candidate will possess a proven history of growing business and revenue streams within an MSP/IT Service Provider organization combined with strong sales management and staff leadership skills.

Core responsibilities expected to include:

  • Lead, motivate and manage a small team of Account Managers and Sales Executives to achieve sales targets
  • P&L responsibility, monitoring and reporting on key metrics
  • Develop training and staffing plans to meet vendor certifications and personal growth
  • Develop new business related to Professional Services and Managed Services
  • Develop new business related to full IT support, Unified Communications, Cloud Infrastructure, Security & Compliance, and Network & Infrastructure
  • Close high value new business opportunities
  • Account planning and customer relationship management
  • Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Manage Client and Vendor relationships

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ minimum experience in a business development / sales management role within a managed services / IT solutions provider
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage outside sales staff and deliver profitable IT projects
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with traditional and emerging technologies, including Infrastructure, Cloud, Cyber Security and Microsoft solutions
  • Demonstrated staff leadership and management skills
  • Proven experience solving customers business needs
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Professional negotiation and influencing skills


A competitive, TAX FREE compensation package (base salary plus bonus/commission) will be offered to the successful candidate, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Health insurance program, relocation cost assistance, pension and other benefits will also be available.

This is a full-time/employee based position in Grand Cayman. Due to the relocation involved, highly mobile and adaptable candidates are required.
