Senior ERP / Financial Consultant

Our client is a BERMUDA based, leading Microsoft Gold Partner delivering Microsoft Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365, ERP, CRM, business process, analytics, and collaboration solutions on premise and in the cloud. Their team of consultants have helped hundreds of customers achieve successful digital transformation projects using a full suite of technologies and applications. They are now seeking to add to their full time Canada based staff, a specialist who excels in both a consulting and technical implementation capacity. This person will work primarily from a home office in Canada and will engage with an international financial services clientele who are mainly located in Bermuda.

Responsibilities:

  • Working directly with clients to understand their business requirements and promote solutions to meet those requirements
  • Collaborate to define business requirements, statements of work, deployment plans, and solution design documentation
  • Provide technical solution architecture on a variety of products and platforms
  • Work alone or with team members to implement solutions to meet the needs of clients
  • Provide day-to-day client support
  • Participate and maintain appropriate technical and / or business skills and certifications
  • Documentation of all work performed and stored in central repository
  • Daily time entry of billable work
  • Provides mentoring and support to others as needed
  • Works with others to drive continuous improvement


Required Experience:

A minimum of 5 years professional services industry experience with direct experience in the following:

  • Thorough and deep understanding of accounting principles (designation preferred)
  • Direct experience working for an Information or Financial Management Company
  • In-depth understanding and experience in enterprise resource planning, data integrations, business intelligence and cloud-based solutions
  • Understanding of project management
  • Ability to effectively follow and help further improve processes, policies and operational tasks
  • Exceptional and demonstrable relationship management, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively write proposals
  • Ability and drive to complete professional reports and respond to all internal and external communications in a timely manner
  • A proven track record of excelling in a fast-past, results-oriented environment with changing priorities and multiple goals
  • A proactive and self-motivated work ethic


Technologies:

A demonstrated understanding and depth of experience with two or more of the following:

  • Workiva
  • Sage Intaact ERP
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365
  • Prophix
  • Blackline
