Telephony Engineer (Intermediate)

Our client is a well established provider of IT and Telecom Solutions in Nassau, Bahamas. Leveraging strong industry partnerships, the company delivers a wide range of ICT services including network and telephony design, integration, managed services and IT support for a range of local and international clientele throughout The Bahamas.

On their behalf, we are seeking an experienced Telephony Engineer to join their team in Nassau. This will be a truly unique opportunity for the right person to enjoy a total change of lifestyle while contributing to the ongoing success of an industry leader in The Bahamas.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Telephony Engineer and report to the firms Chief Operations Officer. Select responsibilities will include assisting in the management and maintenance of customer telephony systems, performing service calls at client locations, documenting and logging activities into the service ticketing application.

We’re looking for candidates with the following:

  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant telephony troubleshooting/support, implementation and integration experience
  • Strong knowledge of and proven experience supporting legacy PBX systems
  • Post secondary education and industry certifications from relevant vendors preferred (such as Avaya, Cisco etc.)
