We are seeking an experienced and highly mobile IT Professional with strong Server and Storage background who would be interested in relocating to join our client, a premier provider of IT solutions and services in the Cayman Islands.

Working in a customer-facing capacity, the Senior Systems Engineer’s day to day tasks will vary, including pre-sales consulting and problem analysis, proposals/presentations, project management, systems design and implementation, as well as overseeing and participating in the support of existing systems. They will participate in regular review meetings, reporting on performance of cloud services, act as an escalation point for client queries and support requests, providing ongoing proactive and reactive support.

We are looking for as much as possible of the following:

• At least 5+ years of experience as an intermediate and/or senior systems engineer within an IT Managed Services or Professional Services firm.
• Professional Certifications such as HPE Master ASE (SAN architect), HPE ATP, Microsoft Certified Professional, Cisco CCNA.
• In depth knowledge of, and experience with, HPE Servers and Storage products including ProLiant, Alpha, Hyper Converged Infrastructure and Storage Works.
• Proven track record of designing, implementing, documenting, and supporting on-prem Client/Server environments as well as cloud solutions such as Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud Computing, SQL Server, and SharePoint.
• In depth knowledge of, and experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise backup solutions, high availability, and business continuity plans.
• Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and work concurrently on multiple complex projects with competing deadlines

This is a full-time role, on-site in Grand Cayman. Due to the relocation involved, candidates should be highly mobile, adaptable and able to make a long-term move to the island.
